The Columbia Soccer Club is located in Columbia, Missouri and is the home of 2000 youth soccer players.
The objectives of the Columbia Soccer Club are to:
- Teach, develop and promote soccer
- Develop players in both body and character
- Promote good sportsmanship
Columbia Soccer Club is an organization with 501(c)(3) status and is fully credentialed by the Federation of International Football Association, the United States Youth Soccer Association, and the Missouri Youth Soccer Association.
A Board of Directors manages Columbia Soccer Club. The board consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Head Coach, Vice President - Competitive Division, Executive Director, Registrar, Parks and Recreation Representative, Referee Representative, and coordinators from each age division. The Board of Directors manages Columbia Soccer Club according to the Columbia Soccer Club By-Laws.
Columbia Soccer Club is composed of a recreational league and a competitive club. The recreational league is home to over 1800 soccer players from U6 to U19. Each season consists of a fall and spring schedule. All games are played at Cosmopolitan Park located off of Business Loop 70 West. The Columbia Parks and Recreation Department manages Cosmopolitan Park.
Columbia SC Pride/Courage is the competitive arm of the Columbia Soccer Club. Tryouts are held every June for players in the U9-U18 divisions and are open to all players. The fall season runs August thru November and the spring season runs March thru June.
